Temasek sells PB Fintech shares worth Rs 1,633 crore

Singapore state investor Temasek sold PB Fintech shares worth Rs 1,633 crore, continuing to pare its stake in the insurance marketplace parent.

PB Fintech operates Policybazaar and other financial platforms. Temasek has periodically trimmed holdings in Indian listed technology companies as positions appreciate.

Block sales by sovereign wealth funds often signal portfolio rebalancing rather than a negative view of underlying businesses. PB Fintech shares have traded on expectations for insurance penetration and credit product growth.

The transaction was executed through market mechanisms available to large institutional sellers in India’s stock exchanges.
