Responding to parliamentary queries, the minister explained that replacing standard rubber fuel hoses and gaskets with ethanol-resistant materials is sufficient to ensure engine durability without major mechanical overhauls.
Gadkari reiterated government commitment to expanding E20 fuel availability across India to lower crude import costs and reduce vehicle tailpipe emissions.
