Eligible candidates can submit applications, upload requisite educational certificates, and choose preferred circle divisions through the official India Post online recruitment portal. Officials noted that candidates must meet mandatory age criteria, demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the respective postal circle, and possess basic computer operating knowledge.
The department highlighted that the recruitment drive will reinforce postal service delivery and rural financial inclusion networks, supporting the expansion of banking and postal insurance services in remote rural habitations.
The recruitment drive covers specialized rural postal functions, including operating micro-ATM banking services, disbursing government social security pensions, and facilitating Aadhaar-enabled financial transactions in remote village panchayats.
