Deloitte researchers highlighted that institutional investments in cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity are enabling regional financial firms to scale operational efficiency and broaden credit access to previously unbanked populations. The report emphasized that regulatory frameworks fostering open banking and instant payment interoperability have significantly accelerated transaction volumes.
