Iranian Parliament Speaker says agreement must end attacks on all fronts

Reports on June 2, 2026 outlined developments in which source materials described the development without repeating the full headline wording. On June 1, 2026, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf told Lebanese counterpart Nabih Berri any Iran–U.S. deal must include halting attacks on all fronts, especially Lebanon.

Separately, qalibaf warned if Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue, Iran would suspend negotiations and “stand against” Israel (Fars, AA, Al Jazeera). Iran linked Lebanon ceasefire to progress on U.S.–Iran talks amid June 2026 partial Israel–Hezbollah arrangement.

Observers will watch whether follow-up orders alter the current framework.
