Anthropic’s Claude saw 306 percent traffic growth in one quarter, capturing 8.2 percent of global AI chatbot visits between January and April 2026, analytics firm data showed.
Web visits rose from 203 million to 824 million, the fastest growth rate among major AI platforms during the period. Anthropic filed a confidential IPO registration at a valuation near 965 billion dollars.
Claude’s gains came as ChatGPT’s market share declined from 76.5 percent in early 2025 to 54.7 percent in 2026, according to Momentic data.
Anthropic attributed growth to enterprise partnerships and model improvements rolled out across its product line.
