Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures Rise 0.7 Percent on Iran Deal Optimism and SpaceX IPO

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.7 percent on Friday as investors responded to Iran ceasefire optimism and SpaceX’s record-breaking market debut.

Stock futures rallied across major indices. The S&P 500 futures gained 0.21 percent while oil prices fell more than 3 percent on hopes of ending the U.S.-Iran war.

SpaceX shares surged on their first day of trading under ticker SPCX, opening at 150 dollars after an IPO priced at 135. The company’s market cap exceeded two trillion dollars.

Treasury yields also declined, with the 10-year finishing at 4.46 percent, down 9 basis points.

Diplomatic sources on June 12, 2026 said reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting shipping restrictions remained central to any ceasefire arrangement.

The offering priced 555.6 million shares at 135 dollars each, raising $75 billion in the largest IPO on record.
