OpenAI announced that enterprise customers can access its artificial intelligence models and Codex through existing Oracle Universal Credits on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
The partnership allows organizations already billed through Oracle’s credit system to consume OpenAI capabilities without separate procurement channels. Codex, OpenAI’s coding-oriented tool, is included alongside general-purpose models in the arrangement.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure serves as the hosting environment for the integrated offering, combining OpenAI’s model portfolio with Oracle’s enterprise cloud footprint. Corporate clients pursuing AI adoption often prefer unified billing and compliance pathways through incumbent cloud vendors.
The deal expands distribution of OpenAI technology to Oracle’s customer base while deepening ties between two major players in the enterprise AI market. Availability through Universal Credits lowers friction for trials and production deployments.
