The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology held a state engagement workshop in Panaji with the Goa government focused on advancing multilingual artificial intelligence and digital governance initiatives.
The workshop brought together officials to discuss ways of expanding AI tools that support India’s many regional languages, part of a wider central government effort to make digital government services more accessible across linguistic lines. Goa is among the states participating in the broader push toward multilingual digital infrastructure.
The partnership is expected to feed into ongoing national initiatives aimed at deploying AI-based language tools across public services.
The Panaji workshop is one of several state-level engagements MeitY has organized this year as it works to build technical capacity for multilingual AI tools across different regions of the country.
