IIM Bangalore achieves 21st rank globally in Financial Times Masters in Management Rankings 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore secured the twenty-first position globally in the prestigious Financial Times Masters in Management Rankings 2026 announced on Tuesday, affirming its standing as India’s leading business school for postgraduate management education.

The premier management institute’s flagship two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management advanced ten places compared to the previous year’s evaluation, outperforming renowned European and American institutions. The international ranking methodology evaluated parameters including graduate career progression, salary parity, alumni satisfaction ratings, international mobility, and research publication citations in premier academic journals.

IIM Bangalore achieved an outstanding score in alumni career advancement and carbon footprint metrics, with audit data indicating that its graduates achieved a ninety-six percent employment placement rate within three months of program completion. Fellow domestic business institutions, including IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta, also secured positions within the top forty global cohort.

Director of IIM Bangalore Rishikesha T. Krishnan praised the faculty, scholars, and alumni network for their relentless dedication to academic excellence and managerial research. Krishnan affirmed that the institute will continue modernizing its curriculum with deep modules in artificial intelligence, sustainable corporate governance, and digital enterprise transformation.
