Google Gemini grew to 27.4 percent of global AI web traffic, a 104 percent increase over six months that solidified its position as the second-ranked platform.
Analysts attributed the surge to Gemini’s integration across Search, Android, Workspace and consumer hardware including Pixel devices.
Gemini’s gains came as ChatGPT’s share declined from 76.5 percent in early 2025 to 54.7 percent in 2026, according to Momentic data.
Google said embedded distribution rather than standalone chat visits drove much of the measured traffic growth.
