A Delhi-based YouTuber known as ‘Road Safety Wala’, identified as Gurman Singh, has been arrested following a months-long campaign of harassment targeting women on the road.
According to police, Singh deliberately rammed scooters ridden by women over a period of months, then filmed and uploaded footage of their distress to social media. He was apprehended after the pattern of conduct came to light.
The case highlights concerns over content creators who stage or provoke incidents for online views, particularly when such acts endanger and target vulnerable individuals.
Authorities are expected to pursue charges relating to the alleged stalking and the deliberate creation of dangerous situations on public roads.
