Candidates seeking to withdraw their candidatures will have until September 23 to finalize their decisions, followed by voting on October 6 and centralized electronic vote tallying on October 9.
The Model Code of Conduct came into immediate legal force across the concerned administrative revenue districts upon the formal press announcement. District magistrates have been directed to strictly regulate public funding expenditures, political hoardings, and discretionary development announcements within all polling jurisdictions.
State electoral machinery has already initiated physical security assessments and electronic voting machine randomisation processes. Central armed police forces will be deployed across all sensitive polling stations to preserve order and guarantee transparent voter participation throughout polling day.
