All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum delivered a commanding scoring exhibition, pouring in 32 points to guide the Boston Celtics to a hard-fought 114-106 road victory over the Orlando Magic at Kia Center. Tatum displayed his full offensive repertoire, draining five three-pointers and attacking the rim relentlessly against Orlando’s lengthy frontline defense. Veteran wing Paul George provided crucial secondary scoring, scoring ten of his 22 points in a decisive fourth-quarter run that turned back a furious Magic rally.
The reigning NBA champions showcased their trademark defensive versatility down the stretch, forcing six Orlando turnovers in the final five minutes to preserve their unblemished road record. Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla praised Tatum’s leadership and floor vision, highlighting how his ability to attract double teams created wide-open perimeter opportunities for teammates. The road victory reaffirmed the Celtics’ status as the benchmark of excellence in the Eastern Conference as they continue their title defense.
