Larry Page Remains World’s Second Richest at 296 Billion Dollars Far Behind Musk’s New Trillionaire Status

Larry Page remained the world’s second-richest person with a fortune of roughly 296 billion dollars, far behind Elon Musk’s new trillionaire status after SpaceX’s IPO.

Page’s wealth derives primarily from his stake in Alphabet, Google’s parent company. Musk’s net worth surpassed 1.2 trillion dollars when SpaceX shares surged on debut day.

The gap between the top two fortunes widened dramatically as SpaceX’s market capitalization exceeded two trillion dollars on June 12.

Wealth tracking firms cautioned that both fortunes remain heavily tied to stock prices that can swing sharply with market sentiment.
