Renowned nuclear scientist, social activist, and CPI(M) theorist M.P. Parameswaran passed away at the age of 92 in Thrissur, Kerala.

Parameswaran, who served at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, played a pivotal role in establishing the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) to advance scientific literacy and popular science education across India.
