Export promotion councils reported that agricultural shipments under the preferential tariff schedules of the Asian pact are projected to grow by twenty-five percent in the inaugural implementation year.

Farming cooperatives noted that duty-free access to major consumer markets will boost rural incomes and incentivize investments in modern agricultural packaging technology.
