India NTA CBI Probe Into NEET 2026 Leak Expands to Multiple States

The Central Bureau of Investigation expanded its probe into the NEET 2026 question paper leak to multiple states including Rajasthan, Bihar, and Gujarat.

CBI teams are coordinating with state police forces to trace financial flows, communications, and physical movement of leaked papers across state borders. Each identified state represents a node in the network that sold exam content to NEET candidates.

Rajasthan’s Sikar region has emerged as a significant hub, while investigators are pursuing leads in Bihar and Gujarat linked to intermediaries and buyers. The multi-state scope prompted the agency to take over the case from local authorities.

NTA administers NEET nationally, but leak operations exploit regional coaching centers and local criminal networks. CBI’s expanded jurisdiction allows unified investigation rather than fragmented state-level inquiries.

Arrests and raids in the three named states are expected to continue as the agency maps the full extent of the conspiracy.
