Serbia celebrates the end of the Vučić regime

Tens of thousands of jubilant citizens gathered in central Belgrade and major regional cities to celebrate a historic parliamentary and presidential election outcome that concluded the long-standing rule of President Aleksandar Vučić. The breakthrough victory was secured by a broad civic coalition comprising student activists, university professors, independent agricultural cooperatives, and grassroots anti-corruption campaigners who united against incumbent governance.

Election monitors reported record-breaking voter participation across urban districts and rural farming provinces, overcoming rigorous media bias and administrative hurdles that had historically favored the ruling party. The student-led movement galvanized public discontent surrounding economic stagnation, institutional transparency, and environmental degradation, transforming student strikes and rural protest marches into an unstoppable electoral mandate.

Coalition leaders delivered victory addresses pledging the immediate restoration of judicial independence, democratic parliamentary debate, and comprehensive anti-graft overhauls across public procurement agencies. International observers and European partners welcomed the peaceful transition of authority, describing the democratic shift as a significant turning point for political stability and democratic governance across the Western Balkans.
