SpaceX’s Nasdaq listing on June 12 marked a historic moment for the American aerospace and artificial intelligence sectors, industry leaders said.
The IPO included the xAI segment alongside the company’s rocket and satellite operations, reflecting Elon Musk’s integration of space and AI businesses under one public entity.
SpaceX raised 75 billion dollars selling 555.6 million shares at 135 dollars each. The company’s market capitalization surpassed two trillion dollars on debut day.
Musk described the offering as the culmination of a 24-year journey from a small warehouse in El Segundo to the largest public offering in recorded history.
